Pointchester Kytemark wins Junior Winner and Winner titles at Amsterdam Winner Show 6th December 2003.

The wildest Pointchester girl must be Pointchester Kytemark - Vicky. After taking the CAC ticket at her very first show in Echt NL on 5th July, she went Res.CAC at the Rotterdam Show and in early September she gained her Luxemburg Junior Champion title and Best Bitch under the breed-specialist John Gaskell (Kennel Mayson). Vicky also took BOB at the 2003 STC Clubmatch, beating 33 other Scotties for the title. At the Eurodogshow in Kortrijk November 2003 she won not only the CAC but also her first CACIB ticket.
Zuid-Laren 2004 brought her her 4th CAC ticket, giving her the title Dutch Champion; however, she has to wait until the age of 27 months before it is confirmed.

The slowest Pointchester show recruit - Pointchester Pax Vobiscum (Kelly) takes BOB, Best in Group and 4th Best in Show 26.November 2001 !!!!

How did it all start?

Since buying our first Scottie in 1988, we have grown into real Scottie addicts - spending most weekends at shows or other doggy events, visiting other Scottie owners and their pups, or just being busy with our own six Scotties. We hope to show you some of the Dutch Scotties and keep people up to date on what is happening in Holland in the Scottie world.

Our first litter in 1990 included Pointchester Ruby Regina, who went on to become our first homebred Champion, being Best Bitch at the Dutch Scottie Club two years running in 1996 and 1997. Ruby died in late 2002 and Krystel took over where her grandmother left off, becoming Best Bitch and Best in Show at the Dutch Scottie Club in 1998, 1999 and repeating this feat at the 2002 Championship Show under breed specialist judge Lorraine Brannan.

Ruby, Krystel and Kelly

Zero She Flies

Krystel has been extremely successful at shows during the last few years and has shown in 2002 that she still is the best. She achieved her Dutch and International Championship titles with ease, and in September 99 became Luxemburg Champion as well. November saw her gaining her German Championship title (VDH + KfT) under judge Hans v/d Berg. Her little sister Kelly (Pointchester Pax Vobiscum) will be shown occasionally during the year and we expect her progeny to be as good as Krystel.

Whelen

Whelen

Krystel's little brother, Pointchester Flying Scotsman (aka Whelen), lives in Belgium and has started his show career with the title 'Hop Prince' in Wieze, Belgium and has also obtained a Reserve CAC/CACIB ticket. He has since gone 4th Best in Show in Prague, Czech Republic in June 1999. He achieved his International Champions title in Charleroi 2001. His similarity to Krystel is amazing - must be some strong genes in there somewhere.

Championship Clubmatch October 1999 - Judge Stuart Plane performed excellently and judged the Scotties at our Clubmatch - Best dog was NL/Int.Ch. Kiltsall Klubman and Best Bitch + Best of Breed was his daughter NL/Int/Lux.Ch. Pointchester Zero She Flies W98/Bundessieger. Stuart Plane knows exactly his own type of dog and placed first in their class not only Krystel and her father, but also a brother of Krystel and a half-brother, as well as Krystel's grandmother Pointchester Ruby Regina.

From the same combination, Pointchester Sui Generis (litter sister to Pointchester Pax Vobiscum) went to the Czech Republic to live with Kennel Bohemia La-Da and Family Marsal near Prague. Besides being Czech and International Champion, she took the Best in Show at the Prague International Show in June 2003.

In 2003, we exhibited the next generation - our new bitch Pointchester Kytemark (aka Vicky), who needs to learn manners first. But after winning her first CAC on her first show, we can forgive Vicky some of this unruliness!

For 2004, we have a special treat in store - Pointchester Electric Sunset, sired by GB/Nord Ch. So What Excalibur ex Pointchester Valkyrie Sails will be shown - Miss Piggy has the potential to be another top Scottie. In the meantime, Zoë has won three CAC tickets before she was even 12 months old, beating several Champions in the process.

Born in early 2004, the next two tigers are on their way to stardom - Pointchester Silver Sunrise and her sister Pointchester Solar Crystal. Sired by GB/Nordic Champion So What Excalibur and out of Multi Champion Pointchester Zero She Flies, they are both nicely silver-brindle and will be shown towards the end of 2004.
